Built as a private home, this villa was renovated in 2005 and it became an elegant small hotel, being today one of the finest alternatives while visiting Argentina. It is in Jujuy, a province well known for its breathtaking landscapes, and historical and cultural heritage of outstanding value. Surrounded by carefully maintained gardens, La Casona is an oasis of confort and good taste that fits in perfectly with its natural enviroment. La Casona del Camino Real takes its name from the Old Inca Road then used by the Spanish Conquerors. This road system was constructed by the Incas to administrate their Empire. It was centered in Cuzco Perú and covered 5 countries: Colombia, Ecuador, Bolivia, Chile and Argentina. All along this ancient roads there are still remains of constructions of civil, military and ceremonial use.
