The Carriage House is a small private home Bed and Breakfast located in the heart of Washington's Capitol Hill neighborhood. We are less than a 10 minute walk to the city's Metro (subway) as well as walking distance to the Library of Congress, U S Capitol, Smithsonian American Indian Museuem and the Supreme Court.

The home offers a choice of 4 guest rooms, each with queen bed and private bath in the main house. The is an additional 2 bedroom, self contained suite offering 2 bedrooms, living room, dining area/kitchenette(Refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker)and 1.5 baths. This unit is located across the courtyard from the main house.

Check In Policy:
We can be mostly flexible around your schedule up to 10 pm. Once checked in, you will be provided with keys to come and go as you please.
Check Out Policy:
Check out time is 11am. In most cases, we can store luggage until 7pm on your check out date
Cancellation Policy:
Deposits are non refundable. Advanced reservations (any made 2 weeks or more from the actual stay dates) can be canceled up until the balance due date, which is 2 weeks prior to arrival.
Children: Children Welcome
Well behaved children can be accommodated in the separate 2 bedroom unit. The guest rooms in the main house are reserved for adults.

Deposit Policy:
We require a $25 deposit for all reservations made 2 weeks or more before actual stay dates. Reservations made less than 2 weeks prior to arrival are required to be paid in full at the time of reservation.
No Pets Allowed
Pets Living At Inn: Yes
We have a very sociable cat. She will be happy to accept any attention you may want to give. We do not allow our pets into the guest rooms.
