Welcome to Coconut Cottage Bed & Breakfast in Pahoa, HI a licensed and permitted establishment, on the Big Island of Hawaii. We are centrally located between Hilo and Volcanoes National Park in the heart of the tropical Puna district in Leilani Estates.

Just seven miles from a live lava flow, where one can watch the red lava stream down the mountain side and the fiery glow of the billowing volcanic gases light up the night sky. Our B&B is only minutes away from the beautiful black sand beaches and turquoise blue waters of Kehena Beach with an abundance of sea turtles and dolphins. Enjoy hiking, mountain biking, and eco-tours at many of the nearby scenic Big Island Hawaii trails. Or relax with the old Big Island Hawaii feel in the village of Hilo. Volcanoes National Park, historic Hilo town and breathtaking waterfalls are within 20 miles of our rural Big Island Hawaii retreat.

Daily gourmet breakfast is served featuring Kona coffee, exotic tropical fruits, homemade breads, yogurt and more on our large Tommy Bahama inspired bamboo lanai with views of our secluded tropical gardens.

Check In Policy:
Check-in is between 3:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. Please contact us prior to your arrival for special arrangements
Check Out Policy:
Check-out time is 11:00. a.m.
Cancellation Policy:
If you cancel two weeks prior to your arrival date we will refund 75% of your deposit. No refunds will be given for shorter cancellations. Holidays are an exception to this policy, please see holiday information. Early check-outs are non-refundable, unless your room can be re-booked.

Deposit Policy:
A $100 deposit is required to secure your reservation. We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, traveler's checks, money orders or personal checks (must be US bank and only for the deposit; balance must be paid in other form). Should your stay be longer than one week, we require a 50% deposit for the length of the stay and the balance is due at check-in.

We have a well behaved Welsh Corgi named Go Go who will join us in February 2008.
Smoking: Outside
The safety and comfort of all our guests is of utmost importance to us; as such we have a no-smoking policy inside the main house, bungalow and rooms. Guests who wish to smoke are invited to do so outside.
