The Alden House Bed & Breakfast Inn is an 1840, gracefully appointed Greek revival home in Belfast, the “Heart of Mid-Coast” on gorgeous Penobscot Bay.
Original Italian marble fireplaces adorn common and guest rooms. Original, exquisite German silver hardware is seen throughout. Relax in front of the fire in the handsome library; enjoy the fireplace in the North Parlor and its grand and player piano. Settle into the cozy South Parlor for games and friendly conversation by the fire.
The beautifully restored guest rooms boast period antiques, en-suite private baths, soothing featherbeds, and exciting attributes of days gone by. Relax on our veranda, gazebo, and explore our lovely grounds. Delight in full, sumptuous breakfasts and afternoon tea.
Located in the heart of town, guests walk to our quaint retail shops, art boutiques, and view magnificent harbor sunrises and sets. Historic walking tours, kayaking, windjammer sails and day trips to our enchanting rocky coast abound.

Cancellation 15 days prior to reservation is fully refundable. Subsequent cancellations will incur full fee unless the room is re-booked, at which time full fee will be refunded.
