The Captain Chadbourne House is a genuine antique Colonial Bed and Breakfast in Kennebunk, Maine. Available in the main house is a two-bedroom suite with connecting bath and an elegant parlor with private entrance. The spacious rooms hold many original architectural features and beautiful antique furnishings, providing a feeling of comfort and peace. The Master suite has a romantic 4-poster bed with a cozy pillow-top mattress that has been said to save marriages. The other bedroom has a handsome antique double bed, and there is also a pull-out queen bed in the anteroom. Both the Master suite and the Parlor have working fireplaces; fires will be laid on request, for a small fee. Guests may also reserve just one bedroom with private bath, parlor, and private entrance; only parties reserving both bedrooms share the bath. Breakfast is served daily in the adjoining dining room, and guests are welcome to enjoy the gracious, old-fashioned screened porch.

Found right off the Southern Coast, the Captain Chadbourne House was built before the Revolutionary War. Located in the heart of picturesque Kennebunk Village, a short stroll will bring you to shops, parks, restaurants, the public library, historic museum, fishing pond, and many other attractions. Conveniently located, this lovely home is also just a short drive or bike ride to several gorgeous beaches. Complimentary beach passes are provided for guests.
