Hermann MO Bed & Breakfast
The Captain's Neighbor,(right across the Street from The Captain Wohlt Inn), is a lovely story and a half brick home built in 1892. It was purchased and renovated in 2003. It has three lovely rooms, a luxurious suite with 2 person Jacuzzi and a beautiful living/meeting room featuring high-speed wireless internet access. It combines the newest amenities with old-fashioned charm and comfort.

Living Room/Meeting Room
The commodious furnishings are perfect for small meetings/retreats, family get-togethers, reading, games or TV viewing. The entertainment center is perfect for supplying audio-visual needs. A refrigerator, microwave and hot drink machine make snacking convenient. With help from of a great decorator (Barb Kahn, of the Tin Rabbit) the area is both useful and welcoming.

Living Room/Meeting Room
The large table can accomodate business meetings, retreats or family get-togethers.

English Suite Jacuzzi
The gracious bathroom includes a whirlpool for two, extra large shower and heated towel rack. With its own microwave and refrigerator, it is the perfect place to spend a romantic or better yet a weekend away from the world.

Sammons Suite Jacuzzi
The Sammons suite has a lovely sitting area with wicker furniture, cable television and a two-person whirlpool. The bedroom and kitchen have breathtaking natural lime stone walls and the suite includes a private bathroom complete with shower.

The English Suite
This elegant suite, decorated in sunny yellow, blue and white provides many amenities for a romantic getaway: king-sized bed, cozy sitting area, cable TV and an electric fireplace. The huge batroom includes a whirlpool for two, extra large shower, heated towel rack, microwave and refrigerator.

The Sammons Suite
The huge bedroom includes an elegant new king-sized bed, a lovely sitting area with wicker furniture, cable TV and a two-person whirlpool tub. This suite includes a bathroom completer with shower and has its own private entrance.

Sweetheart Room
This gracious room, decorated in burgundy and blues, has a queen-size sleigh bed. There are sturdy armchairs where you can sit and admire Madame Alexander dolls portraying famous lovers of the past. WHEELCHAIR-ACCCESSIBLE

Gloria's Room
Named in memory of Mat's mother who always encouraged us to realize his dream of a bed and breakfast, this large and beautiful room features a queen-size, cherry four-poster bed with matching dresser. This light and airy second-floor room also features a velour settee and chair as well as mementos of this sweet lady's life.

Boys In The Attic
This room was built into what was once the attic of Captain Wohlt's house, and is a delightful smaller room with charming gable window, sloping ceiling and shower built into a darling bathroom. With soldier dolls, blocks and old-fashioned model cars, you'll find it hard to climb into the comfortable double bed and close your eyes.

Girls In The Attic
This room was built into what was once the attic of Captain Wohlt's house, and is a delightful smaller room, with a charming gable window, sloping ceiling and shower built into a darling bathroom. This room has a dollhouse, dolls and tea set to delight you heart, and a beautiful quilt to keep you warm on the double bed as you sleep.

The Poschel Suite
The bedroom features an antique queen-sized oak bed, as well as other lovely antiques, while the bathroom boasts a refinished antique claw-footed tub. The sitting room, which has a double-sized sofa bed, can be closed off from the bedroom. A VCR player and videos will entertain children and their parents. Babies will feel at home in the nursery-their own special little vacation place. This suite has its own private deck, where guests may enjoy the outdoors in privacy, sharing only with the birds, butterflies and rabbits.

Peters Suite
This ground-floor suite has its own entry on Third Street, as well as a breathtaking quilt on the wall above the queen-sized cherry four poster. A seperate sitting room has books, games, cable TV and an antique day bed. The bathroom features a new jetted tub for the ultimate in relaxation. This suite has a private garden yard with a picnic table.

The French Room
Just off the common room, the French room offers a light and cozy room with a a comfortable Provence queen bed. Private bathroom features a claw foot tub/shower.

The Irish Room
Failte! The Irish room invites you to rest in a luxurious Waverly-clad queen bed, after a days work at the oak farm table or just a cozy chat in the comfy chairs. Scenes of the Erin Isle grace the inviting deep green and cream walls. Sitting area, cable TV and large private bathroom.
