Situated in the authentic northwestern Montana town of Whitefish and in the heart of America's greatest outdoor recreational region, Good Medicine Lodge is only a few turns from Whitefish Mountain Resort, a short hike from Glacier Park, a paddle away from Whitefish River and Whitefish Lake, and a nine iron from the Flathead Valley's numerous golf courses.
Our six spacious rooms and three suites, most with balconies and mountain views, have private baths, vaulted wood ceilings and custom made lodge pole or iron beds. The flexible accommodations feature either king, queen, or twin arrangements and our largest suite can sleep five. A full breakfast is served each morning at individual tables.
Good Medicine Lodge is built of cedar timbers and has a perfect balance of elegance and warmth. Tastefully decorated in a western motif that is exquisite and welcoming without reflecting pretense, the roomy interiors are punctuated by crackling fireplaces and solid wood furnishings with fabrics influenced by Native American textiles. For travelers' convenience, there is a guest laundry and ski room with boot and glove dryers.
Good Medicine Lodge has been named one of Travel America Magazine's "10 Most Romantic Inns", called "casual yet chic" by National Geographic Traveler Magazine, "inviting" by The Boston Herald, "cozy" by Tacoma's The News Tribune and "peaceful and comfortable" by the San Antonio "Express News". USA Today chose Good Medicine Lodge as one of "10 Great Places" to settle into for viewing fall colors and we were chosen by Bed and Breakfast.com for a "Best of the West" award.
We are proud members of the Montana Bed and Breakfast Association and we are charter members of the Green Hotel Association. We have earned a three diamond rating from AAA and are Montana Superhosts. Good Medicine Lodge is wheelchair accessible.
There is air conditioning throughout Good Medicine Lodge. For our guests' enjoyment, we have an outdoor spa and fire pit. We can accommodate small meetings and offer full catering services. Wireless service and a guest computer are available.
