The Red Barn Bed & Breakfast Inn offers 3 guest bedrooms, including a Suite which can accommodate 4 people in 2 adjoining rooms. All have private baths. You will enjoy staying in the heart of Long Island's Wine Country at our lovingly restored 1877 farm house. Once owned by Lemuel Beecher Hallock, grandson of one of the originating farm families on the North Fork of Long Island.
Surrounded by vineyards and orchards, we are just one mile from the beaches on the Long Island Sound and 1 1/2 miles from the Peconic Bay. Our acreage has some of the original out-buildings and one of the most picturesque barns in the area.
Special Feature Are you an amateur astronomer or just curious about star-gazing? This is the place for you! Your host, Jim, has quality telescopes and binoculars or you can bring your own. The skies are dark, the visibility unobstructed - a rare treat on the East Coast. You'll want to visit the Custer Institute Observatory in nearby Southold. Please ask about our off-season rates
