Welcome to the Blooming Garden Inn, nestled in the heart of Durham North Carolina. For the past decade, Dolly & Frank Pokrass have welcomed fascinating guests from all over the world at their inn. Such Victorian features as a huge wraparound columned porch (with swing), high curved-top ceilings, original mantles, handcrafted woodwork, and spacious rooms give some insight to life a hundred years ago.
The garden-surrounded inn is located at the edge of downtown Durham, just east of the library in the Holloway Historic District. A wonderful selection of exceptional restaurants, charming shops, the Duke University campus and gardens, museums, significant historical sites, and the Research Triangle Park are all within just a few minutes' drive. |

Cancellation Policy:

We normally maintain a 2-week minimum cancellation period for all reservations. Cancellations with notice within this period are subject to 50% charge of the total reservation or one night's stay, whichever is the greater. No-shows without notice are subject to full charges. Longer cancellation periods apply to major Duke weekends (1-2 months), certain holidays, and extended-stay [min. 1-week] reservations (1 month).
Cancellations made within 24 hours of the making of the reservation, yet within the cancellation period, are subject to only a $25.00 cancellation fee, regardless of the size of the reservation. Liability for cancellations made within the cancellation period due to illness, extreme personal hardship, weather obstructions, etc. may be limited to a $25.00 per room compassionate fee.
