Tucked away on a quiet street in the heart of Highlands, North Carolina is the 4-1/2 Street Inn, the perfect getaway. Whether you choose to settle in with a good book, relax by the fire, or stroll into town, the Inn provides the best in accommodations comfort, charm, and convenience. This delightful bed and breakfast set in the cool elevations of the Blue Ridge Mountains will take you back to a simpler time, when the faint rustle of leaves from a quiet breeze lulled you to sleep and the melodies of songbirds awakened you in the morning. A fresh basket of warm, home made cookies will greet you at the door.
Beautiful grounds and antiques grace this welcoming, historic Inn. Set on a secluded 1.3 acre lot, this romantic B&B offers 10 cozy and unique bedrooms all with private baths. Many but not all of the rooms include fireplaces and doors to the wrap around porch. All rooms are appointed with fresh flowers, luxurious Charisma sheets, fluffy robes, and morning paper. Bicycles are available to take into town, or enjoy a therapeutic soak in the outdoor hot tub. Wine is available in the evenings. The spirit of the Inn is casual, romantic, private, and friendly.
