The Alexandra Bed & Breakfast, an 1859 Vermont Farm House Inn with splendid views overlooks the Bennington Monument and Green Mountains of Vermont. The Alexandra Bed & Breakfast offers an elegant understated respite for weary business travelers or vacationing adventurers.
Step inside and enjoy the undisturbed comfort of well appointed, clean and restful bedrooms; indulge in the flavors of a complementary gourmet breakfast and afternoon tea where you will find a selection of juices, freshly cut fruit, organic yogurt, home mixed granola with dried fruits and nuts, breads, pastries, 100% Colombian coffee, a display of teas and last but not least, a choice of originally prepared and cooked to order hot dishes. Later, you may step outside for the day to experience what the area has to offer on every season of the year; or perhaps stay inside, and have a little time for yourself in the privacy of your room. At the end of the day, you are welcome to join us for dinner in a casual and relaxed setting where a 4 course pre-fixed menu is offered in a candle lit dining room, have a drink at the bar while visiting with other guests or just retire for the evening into your room. Savor the moment, remember the experience.
The Alexandra B&B Inn is conveniently situated on 2 acres facing Historic Route 7A, at the edge of town. The land originally belonged to a relative of Samuel Robinson, the founder of Bennington. Our location, allows guests to be close to downtown Bennington, Historic sites, Museums performing arts, major attractions, Antiques & shops, restaurants, galleries, Bennington College, Southern Vermont College, and Williams College. |
