Originally from Knoxville Tennessee, I spent 23 years working and living in Charlotte NC as a municipal arborist (aka Tree Hugger). But I knew a rapidly urbanizing metropolitan city wasn't where I wanted to hang my hat for too long.  So I ventured southwest of Charlotte and found the wonderful town of Clover and this amazing house that was built in 1890. Originally purchased to be a garden wedding venue, I was encouraged to open it as a bed and breakfast. I'm so glad I did! I officially opened the doors of Magnolia House and Gardens in July 2015, and have met some of the nicest people ever. My goal has been to treat everyone who visits like they are family, and my family just keeps on growing.
