North Carolina native Carl Caudle bought the 1906 Pine Crest Inn in 2003. Looking for a significant lifestyle change, Carl came to Western North Carolina to breathe new life and energy into this historic property.

Carl serves as the General Manager and Innkeeper of this romantic North Carolina bed & breakfast getaway. Carl’s relocation from Raleigh’s Research Triangle Park and transition from the technology sector to the hospitality industry benefits the inn’s corporate clientele. Traveling across the country and around the world for previous employers, Carl has experienced first-hand the best and worst of accommodations, conference facilities, and dining for the business traveler. He draws upon these experiences when ensuring that the inn’s corporate retreats are appropriately tailored for productivity and relaxation. Carl also brings his passion for wine; an interest that matured during his 7-year tenure living near California’s wine country.
