In 2014, we asked each other about what we would do if money wasn’t a concern. Ray, loves being outdoors with nature and is a great with plants, mentioned he would love to learn how to run a vineyard. Cheri, with her marketing, organizational and decorating abilities, mentioned she would enjoy real estate and home staging.

We came to the decision that being innkeepers would meet both of our desires. So we found a beautiful B&B and offered our services in what we called our “interim program” working for free in order to live the lifestyle before doing it. And, we loved it!

Then we found our property. We worked hard to turn a private home on 10-acres with its’ beautiful panoramic views of the Blue Ridge Mountains, the valley between the hills, and neighboring vineyard into a licensed and permitted 5-guest room Bed & Breakfast, boutique hotel, event venue,  and vacation rental.

Being an innkeeper isn’t for everyone, it isn’t a get rich endeavor… it is a labor of love… and we love the home, the property, the views, and love sharing all of this with our guests and soon to be friends.
