Provided Items: We supply all bed linens, pillows, blankets, and bathroom towels (please bring your own beach towels). Guests also receive a starter pack of essentials, including 2-3 rolls of toilet paper per bathroom, 1-2 rolls of paper towels, dish soap, hand soap, and 2-3 garbage bags. Additionally, we include 1 travel-size shampoo, conditioner, body wash, bar soap, and makeup remover towels per bathroom.

Pantry Items: Due to health and safety guidelines, all pantry items are removed between guests. Please bring any cooking essentials, such as oil, spices, and sugar, to complete your culinary needs.

Fire Pit: Please bring your own firewood if you plan to enjoy the fire pit in the backyard.

Little Yellow Cottage, located in the heart of downtown Fish Creek, offers a delightful vacation experience. With its shared in-ground heated swimming pool, 2 cozy bedrooms, full kitchen, and amenities like high-speed internet and whirlpool tub/shower, it ensures a comfortable stay. The cottage is equipped with 3 Roku TVs and excellent internet for remote work, web surfing, or streaming. Its prime location allows easy access to Peninsula State Park, Fish Creek public beach, and local restaurants. Families with kids and dogs are welcome to enjoy the outdoor activities available, including kayaking, biking, fishing, and more.

The cottage provides sleeping arrangements for 4 adults and 2 kids, with two queen-size beds and a full-size sleeper sofa. Additional amenities include a pack 'n play for the little ones. Please note that the space is not suitable for 6 adults due to its compact size. This is a SMALL cabin! Only 500 square feet!

For added excitement, "The Adventure Shed" awaits guests at a nearby location. This unique storage unit houses various items exclusively available to Little Yellow Cottage guests, such as kayaks, bikes, outdoor games, a cooler, balls, a gas grill, fishing equipment, and winter adventure gear. The storage facility also provides parking for a vehicle, allowing direct access to Peninsula State Park or downtown Fish Creek by bike. 

The cottage features a fenced-in, shared, heated in-ground swimming pool, open from June 10th to September 5th. Guests are advised to supervise children, adhere to pool hours, and follow guidelines such as avoiding glass and food in the pool area. The pool is cleaned and sanitized twice daily for hygiene and safety. 

Outdoor relaxation is made possible with a firepit and patio chairs. While firewood is not provided, guests can enjoy small fires using the village-owned woods adjacent to the property. A propane grill is also available for use, with local gas stations providing propane filling or exchange services.

Pet fee is $35/day per dog

Relax under the pergola-covered patio adorned with a draping grapevine—feel free to pick grapes when in season! A fire pit with seating by the water's edge is perfect for roasting s'mores. Find solace in the hammock nestled between two beautiful trees, ideal for an afternoon nap or immersing yourself in a captivating book. During the summer months (June through mid-September), a pier is installed for your enjoyment.

The Adventure Shed/Outdoor Activities:
-Our highly sought-after "Adventure Shed" offers an array of outdoor amenities, including 4 single-person kayaks, a 2-person tandem kayak, a rowboat, and two stand-up paddleboards. 1. Our pier is normally in the water June through September - subject to water level and weather.

2. PET POLICY: Dogs can be allowed with prior approval by management and at $50 a day per dog. Absolutely no cats because we have allergic family members. Fee is applied after you book.

3. Security deposit of $500 is required. An email will be sent after you book where you can input your information. This is a "hold." We do not take any money out of your account, there is a hold placed 1 day before you arrive and released after your stay if no damages are done to the property and house rules are followed.

4. No refunds of any kind will be issued due to things outside of our control. Thank you for your understanding.

5. The WIFI with Door County Broadband has been very fast and reliable. However, we are in the country so spottiness can occur.

6. Absolutely no unauthorized guests or going over the occupancy limits. Sorry, no exceptions.

7. We attempt to ensure every effort is made to assure the accuracy of this ad, however, errors may occur. We will do our best to keep all information current and accurate. Sometimes things outside the homeowners control may happen and if they do the homeowner will attempt to resolve them, but is not liable.

8. Despite our diligent efforts to combat bothersome insects through measures like monthly pest control, regular cleaning, and weekly trash services, be aware that when booking a home in nature you may encounter certain pests beyond our control. The presence of fruit flies, gnats, May flies, horse flies, mosquitoes, bats, mice, and other such creatures does not reflect on the cleanliness of our home. Despite our best endeavors, these small pests may occasionally appear.

9. Ninety-seven percent (97.00%) of the total booking charges will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 60 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. For cancellations made within 60 days prior to the arrival date, no refund will be issued.

Our name, Milky Way Hideaway, perfectly captures the awe-inspiring views of our galaxy. The night sky illuminates with stars, and if you're lucky, you may witness the breathtaking northern lights.

With accommodations for up to 8 guests and an infant/child/dog-friendly policy, Milky Way Hideaway offers three bedrooms, two full bathrooms, a stunning screened-in three-season room with panoramic views of the lake and lush surroundings, a pristine kitchen, a laundry area, and an exclusive Adventure Shed. We provide kayaks, bikes, outdoor games, fishing gear, and more!

Stay cozy by the indoor or outdoor fire. In the backyard, you'll find a Solo Stove and a gas stove in the living room. If you're bringing kids along, they'll have plenty to keep them entertained with books, games, a high chair, pack 'n play, and other essential gear available during your stay. Relax in the ample outdoor seating near the fireplace and enjoy a barbecue on the propane grill. Don't forget to unwind in our gorgeous hot tub overlooking the lake!

Milky Way Hideaway offers convenient proximity to downtown Algoma and is just a 15-minute drive to downtown Sturgeon Bay, where you'll find breweries, wineries, excellent dining options, and shopping. SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS:
- Sleeps 8 guests with 5 beds, each bedroom equipped with a ROKU TV.
  * Primary bedroom: King bed with en suite bathroom.
  * Bedroom 2: Queen bed.
  * Bedroom 3: Twin over full bunk bed with a twin trundle underneath - total of 3 beds! This room also offers a wide selection of toys and games.
- Additionally, we provide three pack 'n plays and a queen-sized air mattress.
  * High-quality linens, quilts, and pillows are included for all beds.

BATHROOMS:
- Two full bathrooms with bath towels provided.

LAUNDRY:
- Onsite full-size washer and dryer for your convenience. We also provide some laundry detergent.

KITCHEN:
- Fully equipped with everything you need to prepare meals: pots, pans, cups, plates, silverware, cooking utensils, baby utensils, cups, high chair, toaster, microwave, crockpot, waffle maker, baking sheets, and more! You'll find everything necessary to create fabulous meals at the cabin.

COFFEE BAR:
- Well-stocked coffee bar with regular and Keurig machines, coffee grounds, pods, sugars, creamers, and teas!

LIVING ROOM:
- Relax on the comfortable sectional couch in front of a gas fireplace, enjoy the flat-screen TV, and take advantage of the wide selection of board games. The living room also provides a workspace overlooking the lake.

3 SEASONS ROOM:
- The three-season room is the perfect spot to savor your morning coffee or tea, play cribbage, or simply unwind.

THE ADVENTURE SHED:
- Our Adventure Shed offers four kayaks, bikes of various sizes, helmets, life jackets in different sizes, five fishing poles with gear, two strollers, outdoor games (ladder ball, spike-ball, bags set, washers, bocce ball), soccer balls, frisbees, footballs, and much more – all available for you to use during your stay, free of charge!

OUTDOOR AREAS:
- Enjoy complete privacy in the yard, featuring a hot tub, deck, grilling station, outdoor seating, fire pit, a charcoal, and gas grill (please note that we do not provide coals or monitor the gas tank), as well as 100 feet of private waterfront access. Launch the kayaks and indulge in some fishing!

INTERNET:
- We offer Viasat WiFi internet; however, please note that due to our remote location, the connection can be intermittent. High speeds are not guaranteed.

KID/INFANT AMENITIES:
- We are thrilled to provide three pack 'n plays, a high chair, booster seats, kids/baby cups, bowls, plates, utensils, baby monitors, noise machine, and more!

DOG AMENITIES:
- We offer dog crates, dog beds, leashes, stakes, toys, bowls, and more for your furry friends. Please note that there is a $50/day per dog fee, and we regretfully cannot accommodate cats due to allergies within our family.

FIRE PIT:
- A fire pit is provided for your enjoyment. We do not supply firewood, but you can easily find firewood for purchase nearby or arrange for delivery.

2. We are on a holding tank system which we get pumped weekly. We do have an alarm onsite that will go off once it's 80% full. The alarm is loud but you can silence it. Please call us right away if this happens and we can get it pumped!

3. The three-season room is not heated.

4. A security deposit of $500 is required. You will receive an email after booking to provide your information. This deposit is a "hold" and no funds will be deducted from your account. This is a large home with approximately 2500 square feet, and has large social spaces inside and out. 

The main level has a very large living room room with two new sectional sofas configured in a way to maximize both seating and open space. Adjoining the living room is a comfy family room with a wet bar and patio door access to the expansive deck. 

There is also an eat-in kitchen and formal dining room that combined seats 10. The kitchen also has patio door access to the large deck (which faces woods and occasionally wildlife wanders by. 

This 5 bedroom home has 3 full baths (1 main level & 2 on the upper level). A half bath is located on the main level. 

There is a large front yard with lots of lawn, and a few very large nature hardwood trees with big canopies of foliage to provide shade when you want it most. 

The driveway and parking pad provide enough room for several cars and/boats.  

We are open year round, and we are local owners so we try to stay on top of the property condition, and investing and maintaining it. We acquired this home in 2020 and have invested into a lot of improvements for safety, curb appeal, and comfort to help your Door Vacation be memorable for enjoyable reasons

With room for up to 10 guests, this versatile property includes a main house that sleeps 4 and two studios, Pine and Cedar, that sleep 2 and 4 respectively. The main house boasts a king bed, a queen bed, and a newly remodeled full bathroom, and a newly remodeled, fully stocked kitchen with a dining area that seats up to 10. Cedar and Pine studios each have a queen bed and their own full bathroom. Cedar also includes a queen sleeper sofa for additional flexibility. Both studios are equipped with convenient kitchenettes, featuring a coffee maker, sink, mini fridge, microwave, and a toaster oven/air fryer.
