Our beautiful century-old home has been magnificently restored and its strong architectural details include a carved staircase, five distinctly different tiled fireplaces, pocket doors, natural wood floors and stunning chandeliers in every room. An inviting wrap-around porch welcomes you to the entry where you will be received into the grand foyer showcasing the original carved Victorian staircase. Beautiful music wafting from the baby grand player piano may draw you into the front parlor before you climb the stairs to find your beautifully appointed guest suite on the second floor. CONAVIRUS UPDATE: We recognize that the desire to travel may be couched in concern – for ourselves and others – and that changes how guests may currently experience Blessings on State Bed & Breakfast. We want you to know that with just two suites, our guests are able to social distance with ease, whether sitting in the front parlor, on the wraparound porch, in the gardens, or strolling our historic neighborhood. We’ve always maintained the highest service standards, and our attention to detail includes hand sanitizers at the ready and using recommended and approved disinfectants, with touch points cleaned throughout the day. Decorative items, including pillows, have been withdrawn from the suites, so they look a little different, for now. Breakfast is served by suite, whether alone in the dining room, to the suite, or in the garden gazebo. As always, gracious hospitality is our highest priority, and we’ll do our best to customize your stay to meet your travel needs while we work together to keep you, our Blessings family and our communities safe. High-speed internet is available throughout the home. Our bed and breakfast is equipped for guests with hearing impairments, offering all the basics to make your time away from home both secure and comfortable. In addition to standard signalers, we have an amplified phone, TTY and a video phone available for your use while you’re here.
