This charming two bedroom is perfect for the business-leisure traveler. You will have reliable and fast internet, an adjustable desk for your workspace, free on premise parking, in-unit laundry, smart television, ample dining and cooking space, and a row machine for your at home fitness. This unit is curated for the extended stay traveler, weekly and monthly bookings welcome! If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us before, during, or after your booking experience! THE SPACE: Welcome to your home away from home while visiting the city. Recently updated and designed with a mid century style and Boho accents. This 2-bedroom/1-bathroom apartment will suit all of your needs. Relax after a long day working or exploring in front of our 65” Roku TV ready to log into your streaming accounts. Whip up a meal in the stocked kitchen, which includes a drip coffee maker, tea kettle, coffee, tea, sweeteners and creamers, various cooking utensils and a dishwasher. The bathroom includes all the necessary towels and bath products (hand soap, lotion, shampoo, conditioner, body wash). Guests enjoying a longer stay will welcome the washer/dryer, and you will be able to stay connected with our 250+ mb WiFi. EXERCISE: This unit includes a row machine for your use. WORK: You will be able to sit or stand while getting work done on an electronic adjustable desk located in the living room. THE AREA: We are more than happy to offer our recommendations about the local area and answer any questions you have about the unit or the complex itself. You can reach us through the conversation thread or text messaging during your stay. OCCUPANCY: This unit allows 4 overnight guests. Over occupancy may result in eviction. PARKING: There is numbered parking for one car in the parking lot behind the building. Parking is within steps to your unit’s private entrance. GATHERINGS: We know people like to have a good time, but out of respect to the other tenants and neighbors, this property has a strict “No Party” policy. QUIET HOURS: Quiet hours are from 10pm to 8am. Guests are responsible for the conduct of all persons in their unit. SMOKING: Smoking of any kind is not allowed in the unit. There will be a minimum $250 penalty fee if it is determined that there was smoking in your apartment during your reservation period. MINIMUM AGE: Guests named on the reservation must be 25 years or older. By booking a reservation, you represent and warrant that you are 25 or older and have the legal capacity and authority to enter into a contract. The name on the reservation must be present at check-in and throughout the duration of the stay. CHECK-IN / CHECK-OUT: Check-in time is at or after 4pm and check-out time is prior to or at 10am. Early check-ins and late checkouts are not available at this time. SECURITY: For security reasons, there are audio/video recording cameras in the common areas of the building and outside of the building. There is a noise monitoring system inside the unit, however, this only monitors decibels and does not function as a recording device. Please note that any house rules violation will incur an additional $150 penalty charge. Disclaimer: Please be aware that a 5% cancellation payment processing fee will be deducted from any funds already processed. This fee is imposed as we utilize a third-party service to handle financial transactions. We appreciate your understanding in this matter. You will have access to one parking space and the full two bedroom apartment. Access to the unit is through a private entrance on a common stairwell. //STAIRS & ACCESS This apartment requires climbing stairs to access. It is on the third floor and has forty stairs to reach the door. //ROW MACHINE There is a row machine for your use while you stay. Please enjoy but do so at your own risk. The host will be held-harmless for any injury that may occur from using the equipment. //DAMAGE & INCIDENTALS This space has been designed to feel like a home away from home with many amenities. The booking guest is responsible for any incidentals, damage, or missing items during your stay. This includes but is not limited to destroyed and stained towels and linens. //NO PETS We all agree that dogs (and cats!) are our best friends, due to the many common elements of our house, and allergies of our past guests, we do not allow pets. There are no exceptions to this rule including assistance/service animals. There will be a $250 cleaning fee assessed if it is determined a pet has been anywhere in the house. //GUEST COUNT The amount of guests that are included in your reservation includes anyone entering the apartment during your stay, not just those staying overnight. If you bring more guests than reserved, you will be charged for the additional number of guests or your booking will be canceled immediately without refund. //NO PARTIES Although we all love a good party, we share this historic building with many of our neighbors who are our friends and we take their living environment seriously. Please be aware that large gatherings, heavy drinking, excessive noise and loud music will not be tolerated and reservations will be canceled without refund. //QUIET HOURS Quiet hours are from 10pm - 8am. We want you to have fun but please be considerate of our neighbors during these quiet hours. //NOISE Although this fully-renovated building is in fantastic shape it was constructed without the benefits of modern soundproofing so you will, on occasion, hear neighbors now and then. This rarely is a problem but if there is any concern please let us know and we will resolve on short order. //SAFETY & SECURITY For safety and security there is a security system monitoring the exterior parking area of the property. The cameras are located at the corners of the building. There are no cameras located inside of the unit. //FRONT DOOR There is a door leading to the front stairwell of the building that we ask you not use. We do not have smart locks for these doors and you will be locked out if you leave the building through the front requiring you to walk around to the back. Please only use it in case of emergency. //COMMON SPACES There are some open landing areas at each level of the stairwell. Feel free to stand in these areas to smoke. //NO SMOKING Smoking is prohibited anywhere inside of the apartment. You are welcome to smoke outside in the stairwell area as long as you clean up after yourself. Should this be violated there will be an additional $250 cleaning fee. Drug and Substance Policy At Great Stays, we are committed to ensuring the safety and comfort of all our guests. To maintain a secure and enjoyable environment, we have established the following policy regarding drugs, alcohol, and tobacco: 1. Illegal Drugs: Absolutely no illegal drugs are permitted in the unit or on the premises. Any evidence of illegal drug use or possession will be reported to the Online Travel Agency (OTA), the local police, and may lead to immediate eviction without refund. 2. Legal Substances in Michigan: In the state of Michigan, alcohol, marijuana, and tobacco are legal substances. However, their use on our property is subject to the following conditions: * Alcohol: Guests may consume alcohol within the unit or on the premises, provided it is done responsibly and without disturbing other guests. * Marijuana: Smoking or vaping marijuana is strictly prohibited inside the unit. Guests may only use marijuana in designated smoking areas on the property. * Tobacco: Smoking or vaping tobacco is strictly prohibited inside the unit. Cigarettes may only be smoked in designated smoking areas on the property. 3. Non-Compliance: Failure to comply with this policy will result in immediate action, which may include eviction, reporting to the OTA, and notification to local authorities.
