About The Property

GOOD VIBES is the ideal Lake Lure vacation rental home with GREAT INTERNET and absolutely EVERYTHING you could possibly ask for.  Located in RUMBLING BALD RESORT, you will find amenities for everyone in your group including pools, lazy river, lake access, sandy lakefront beach, golf, tennis, fitness center, spa, and much more.  From the moment you arrive, you’ll immediately realize you’ve made the right vacation destination decision. This 3 bedroom, 4.5 bathroom, tri-level home is nestled among mature trees and lush landscape on a private half acre of land.  Before the home was put on the rental market, it had complete aesthetic renovations top to bottom.  The driveway is paved, level, and offers plenty of room for three cars to park. Unloading groceries and luggage is a breeze, as there is a gently sloped ramp on one side, and easy tiered stairs on the other.  So, drop your bags and let’s look around.  Entry is directly into the light and bright living room with a wall of windows and soaring vaulted ceilings.  The living room features plenty of seating for your entire group including sofa, love seat, and two side chairs. Enjoy a movie on the large flat screen TV mounted above the stone GAS FIREPLACE.  The natural light, high ceilings, and view out the sliding glass doors creates a very comfortable ambience for relaxing on vacation.  Sliding glass doors connect the best of outdoor and indoor living keeping your group connected inside and out.  On the full length deck are padded lounge chairs to enjoy the sun and wooded scenery while listening to the bold rushing creek behind the home.  If you prefer to gather in the shade for a good book or just visit with friends, you’ll absolutely love the screened porch with enough comfortable padded outside furniture for everyone.  Back inside, the kitchen is ideal for cooking and entertaining.  The large granite countertop offers ample meal preparation space.  Seating for three at the breakfast bar is great for casual dining or a morning cup of coffee.  The kitchen has everything you need: microwave, dishwasher, KEURIG COFFEE MAKER, toaster, deep sink, a variety of cookware, and plenty of dishes.  Steps away is a formal area with a view, the perfect place to gather for meals, games, or just planning the next day’s adventures.  Everyone can choose where they want to eat: inside at the table, at the breakfast bar, at the bistro table on the deck directly outside the dining area, or in the SCREENED PORCH.  All these areas are steps from each other and connected by sliding glass doors.  Off the kitchen is a laundry room with washer and dryer and doors to a deck with a GAS BBQ GRILL.  The main floor Master Suite is something you won’t find in most vacation rental homes, because it has SEPARATE HIS AND HERS MASTER BATHROOMS.  Other features include king size bed, two nightstands with reading lamps, large three drawer dresser, ceiling fan, and side chair for getting dressed.  Sliding glass doors lead to an outside deck.    Upstairs you will find two Guest Rooms.  They are both equipped with queen size beds, dresser drawers, nightstands with reading lamps, and ceiling fans.  The upper level guest bathroom has a bathtub with shower. In the upper loft is a desk in case you need to do some work while on vacation.    But wait, there’s more.  Downstairs is its own unique retreat.  Here you will find a second stone double-sided GAS FIREPLACE, plenty of seating to watch the 48” flat screen SMART TV, an AIR HOCKEY TABLE, and a KITCHENETTE BAR with full size refrigerator and microwave.  The twin bed AND sleeper sofa are perfect for overflow sleeping.  There is another bathroom with walk in shower.  Sliding glass doors lead to a lower level deck.  WOW! You must provide us with the number of people and vehicles in your group.  Violation of occupancy rules are grounds for immediate eviction with no refund, and fees will be charged to your credit card to cover any damages.DESIGNATED PARKING: Vehicles must be parked only in designated areas on the vacation rental property. Parking in the roadway blocking the flow of traffic and parking on neighbor's property without permission are prohibited. There is parking for 3 vehicles at this property. No RV’s of ANY size, boats, trailers, campers, motorcycles, or oversized vehicles of ANY kind.ACCESS: You will receive directions and access information once we have received a signed rental agreement securing reservation (this agreement will be sent to you for electronic signature). If you go to a property prior to approval from our office before check in time you will be accessed an early check-in fee $50.TRASH DISPOSAL:  All household waste and trash must be placed in receptacles considered to be animal proof (e.g., durable with secured lids) when available unless advised otherwise due to increased bear activity. The town of Lake Lure and Rumbling Bald Resort do not provide daily trash removal.  You may also take your trash to the Bills Creek Convenience Center, 2130 Bills Creek Rd, Lake Lure, NC 28746.MINIMUM AGE: YOY MUST BE AT LEAST 25 YEARS OF AGE to reserve a rental property and sign the lease and must also be a guest at the property during the ENTIRE term of the stay.  You must present a valid government ID at time of check in.  If you are not 25, you will NOT be allowed to check in and no refund will be provided.NO HOUSE PARTIES: We do not accept reservations from sororities, fraternities, spring-break parties, bachelor / bachelorette / wedding parties, graduation parties, or ANY similar groups unless approved at time of reservation. Mr. Lake Lure Vacation Rentals works very closely with local law enforcement to patrol our rental homes, and report to us any occupancy violations.  Any violation of this rule mandates you immediately vacate home without refund, regardless of the remaining duration of your reservation.FIRE PROTECTION FOR YOUR SAFETY: Fire Extinguisher and Evacuation Plan -This home is equipped with working fire extinguishers and a posted evacuation plan. Removing any of these from their designated location is prohibited. Avoid storing items not to block hallways, doorways, steps, entrances and exits. Small Outdoor Fires - When an area burning ban is in effect, bonfires are prohibited. Contact your rental home's property manager for information on any burning bans. Outdoor fires are only permitted in a place and manner approved by the Fire Chief.LAKE ACTIVITIES: Swimming: Never swim farther than 50 feet from shore unless accompanied by an observer in a boat.FISHING: A North Carolina fishing license is required, and all state fishing regulations apply.PERSONAL CONDUCT: Trespassing or venturing onto a neighboring property without the owner's permission is prohibited.NO SMOKING: Smoking, Vaping and Electronic cigarettes are prohibited in all our vacation rental homes. You will be assessed an additional cleaning fee if it is discovered you have been smoking and/or vaping in the home of $500.  We ask that all smokers stay a minimum of 10 ft from any open window or door, do not stand near open doors or windows allowing smoke to enter the home while smoking on property.  Please make sure butts and ashes are not left behind. Discard the butts and ashes in the outside garbage. Do not throw butts on the ground (including the fire pit) or bring them into the home. If there is any tobacco smell in the home after your departure, there will be a minimum $500 charge. Oil lamps and incense are not permitted due to the long-lasting odor. If these policies are violated, there will be a charge for excessive cleaning.NOISE: Unreasonably loud noise is prohibited throughout the Town. Please observe quiet hours after 10:00pm and be aware that sound carries very far over a still lake.  This community has Security on patrol 24 hours per day.  They immediately report to us any violation of the rules set forth herein.UNRULY BEHAVIOR: Behavior deemed disorderly and causing a disturbance to the public is prohibited. SECURITY CAMERA LOCATIONS: Please be advised all our homes have forward facing entry area security cameras. If you are found to be in violation of this rule you will be required to vacate the property IMMEDIATELY and forfeit the remainder of your stay.  You will also be assessed a fine of $500 for the violation. NO REFUNDS will be given for pet violations.RENTAL AGREEMENT AND TOTAL BALANCE: You will be required to sign a vacation rental agreement before your reservation is secured.  Failure to sign rental agreement within 72 hours of booking, will result in cancellation of reservation and forfeiture of deposit. Any monies received by Mr. Lake Lure Vacation Rentals for occupancy of vacation property indicated the acceptance of the terms of our vacation rental agreement in full. Your total amount listed on the Mr. Lake Lure~ Vacation Rental Agreement may be different than the amount paid to the 3rd party site you book through.  All third-party sites charge differing amounts as service fees to guests for using their services.  We have no control over those fees and do not collect them.Please read your vacation rental agreement carefully before you begin your vacation. All policies are strictly enforced. It is the responsibility of all guests and members of their party to be familiar with all policies pertaining to rental.ALL PROPERTIES OFFER AN INITIAL SUPPLY OF THE FOLLOWING AMENITIES:Including, but not limited to: bed linens and bath towels (2 bath towels and 2 washcloths per Guest, 2 hand towels per bathroom sink), dishwasher detergent (2 loads) and dishwashing soap, new sponge, laundry detergent (2 loads), hand soap, (1 set per bathroom sink, including hotel size: 1 bar of soap, 1 shampoo, 1 conditioner and 1 lotion), paper towels (1 roll), toilet paper (2 rolls per bathroom), and garbage bags (2 kitchen bags, plus 2 black bags). If you don’t feel this will be adequate for your stay, you will want to stop and pick up more on your way. All properties provide fully equipped kitchens or kitchenettes, including coffee makers as well as some cooking utensils. Locked pantries and closets are reserved for the use of the Property Owner and are not accessible to Guest. The lake will be lowered about one (1) foot per day until the lake is twelve (12) feet below full pond (990.5 mean sea level). Lake levels will vary during the drawdown between (5) feet below full-pond and (12) feet below full-pond, depending on the work requirements of contractors. The Town will work as strategically and efficiently as possible during the lake drawdown periods. It is anticipated that the lake will begin refilling on 3/31/23.
