If ever the term “time capsule” were to be used to describe a house, it would be appropriate of the two properties that make up Stardust Retreat. The Atomic Ranch (formerly known as Terrace House) was designed by architect Don Duncan and built in 1958 for local jeweler, Earle Smith, whose family jewelry shop at 114 S. Commercial Avenue (now Bucketheads) operated for more than 80 years before closing in 2017. The Smith children grew up in this home, which remained in the family until Mrs. Smith passed away in 2005. Born and raised in Coleman, and when we come back for any event we enjoy staying at Stardust! Perfectly located close to downtown activities and very peaceful! Highly recommend staying with Stardust!

The Stardust Retreat is as advertised! It's just down the street from downtown with great places to eat and shop. It sits on top of the hill overlooking downtown. It's perfect for sitting outside and relaxing with a view of the countryside. Shelley is a great host and very accommodating. If you're going to Coleman, stay here!
