It features an open-air floor plan with air conditioning, ceiling fans, tasteful casual island décor, and spectacular ocean views of the neighboring islands in the distance. We strive to achieve a welcoming and thoughtful retreat for your stay in magical Maui. You can enjoy our favorite local restaurants or cook in our updated kitchen. No matter what, you will be delighted with your new home away from home in Maui! Kahana Sunset fronts one of Maui's most romantic hidden gems in Keoni Nui Bay offering splendid views of the islands of Molokai and Lanai. Enjoy stunning year-round sunsets with unobstructed panoramic views all from your living area and private lanai. This Property is an oceanfront resort with low-rise units on quiet Keoni Nui Bay where often, the only footprints you see are your own! The turtles & tropical fish are abundant, and the waves are family-friendly. Whether it is calm and gentle for snorkeling or with sets of waves rolling in, perfect for the body surfers in the family. Each day brings a new experience. Our shoreline is known for observing beautiful Hawaiian Green Sea Turtles which were declared an endangered species in 1978. Viewing these graceful turtles is a memory you'll never forget. From the living room or master bedroom, you will move out to your ocean-view lanai--a perfect location for that morning cup of locally grown coffee or an evening sunset cocktail. Views from both lanais include stunning views of the blue Pacific as well as the neighboring islands of Lana'i and Moloka'i. Surrounded by over 4.5 acres of lush tropical gardens, Kahana Sunset's spectacular oceanfront location is perfect for your Maui vacation. (Manicured lawns around the complex involve weekly landscaping services starting before 8am.) Hawaii Department of Taxation: TA-009-581-2096-01, GE-009-581-2096-01, Parcel: 430030150020 The property management company requires a $300 security deposit. This is just a hold placed on the card, required 2 days before your arrival and released after your stay once the unit is inspected. Please refer to our legal agreement for more details, which should be signed within 24 hours upon booking. We do not typically allow early or late check-ins, if requested and approved 3 days before arrival or departure, we do charge $40/hr. Our standard check-out time is 11AM and check-in time is 4 PM. In the event that the guest did not arrange a late checkout and they did not depart the property on the date of departure, at the checkout time, the guest will be charged a penalty fee. 15 minutes after check-out time guest will sustain a $250 fee, 30 minutes after check-out time is a $500 fee, and 45 minutes or more $1,000. Also please note that we do not allow any Check-ins/Check-outs on major holidays such as (Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Years Eve, New Years Day, Martin Luther King, Memorial Day, Easter, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving) We are not equipped like a hotel, and we do not provide a linen service during your stay although we do provide a few initial starter supplies such as (5) dishwashing pods or (1) bottle from costco, (5) laundry pods, (3) rolls toilet paper, (2) paper towel roll, (1) sponge, (5) trash bags, (1) dish soap, (1) set shampoo/conditioner and (2) soaps per bath. Guests are responsible for any additional supplies during their stay.
