Welcome to Laurel Ridge Lodge at Blowing Rock, a unique vacation home that offers a perfect blend of comfort and convenience!  Conveniently located less than four miles from The Blue Ridge Parkway and Downtown Blowing Rock, Laurel Ridge Lodge at Blowing Rock is ideally situated to host your High Country getaway.  Stroll down Main Street, where you will find local shopping and dining and a public park with tennis and basketball courts. Ride on the Blue Ridge Parkway and enjoy the breathtaking views at one of the overlooks. Hikers of varying skill levels can hike at one of the trails off the Parkway. Tweetsie Railroad and Mystery Hill are a fifteen-minute drive and offer attractions to entertain the whole family. The town of Boone is twenty minutes down the road and is home to Appalachian State University, Boone Golf Club, the Farmer's Market, and local restaurants and breweries.  Laurel Ridge Lodge at Blowing Rock is a two-level, three-bedroom home that comfortably accommodates eight guests. The living room, with its vaulted tongue-and-groove ceilings, wood floors, and a cozy sectional around a Smart TV and substantial wood-burning rock fireplace, is the perfect place to unwind. Build a fire to warm up after a day on the slopes or hiking on the Parkway. The living room has access to the deck, where you can gather around the fire pit and roast marshmallows, adding to the homely atmosphere. Vaulted ceilings continue into the dining room, with seating for six at the table. The charcoal grill on the back deck is accessible from the dining room. The kitchen, off the dining room, boasts stainless steel appliances and an island for extra prep space, making it easy to prepare and enjoy meals together.   On the main level, a master bedroom with a queen bed and an ensuite bathroom has access to the deck, where you can enjoy fresh mountain air and the privacy this wooded lot offers. The downstairs provides extra space for guests to spread out in the den, which has a Smart TV and access to the outside. There are also two bedrooms on this floor that share a full bathroom: one with two twin beds and a spacious king bedroom. There is a queen sleeper sofa in the den.  Additional amenities at Laurel Ridge Lodge at Blowing Rock include WiFi, YouTube TV, and central air conditioning and heat. Two dogs are welcome, with an additional pet fee. The gravel driveway is level and has room for three vehicles.
