Chateau Marmot is a luxurious, modern A-frame cabin within a half hour of Mount Rainier National Park, White Pass Ski Area, and some of the most breathtaking hiking on the West Coast. Amenities include a cedar hot tub, Weber gas grill, hi-fi stereo, fireplace, balcony, deck, and fire pit. We're just 2.5 scenic hours from Portland and Seattle, and we're dog friendly. Our cabin is a spacious vintage 1965 A-frame located in a working class vacation home community with a roughly 50/50 mix of weekenders and full-timers. The neighborhood consists of...
We own and operate this thing called “Little Owl Cabin.” It started around 2006, in New York City of all places. Val was an affordable housing developer in the South Bronx; Ryan was a public policy consultant, designing and managing resource conservation programs. We used to take lots of trips to ski mountains and National Parks, back when VRBO was Almighty and Airbnb was a scrappy startup. As often as possible, we stayed in vacation rentals. Loved our peaceful stay! Our son had a blast playing in the snow and “chilling” in the hot tub. Ryan provided a very helpful guide to anything you may want or need to know for staying in the house and areas. He was very responsive and a great host!

Great location to Mt. Rainier National Park about an hour drive to popular trails like skyline loop, otherwise about 20 minutes to the closest NP sign. Cabin itself was beautiful! Beds were super comfy, hot tub was perfect. All the kitchen and bathroom supplies you’ll need. Only negative I have is that it has a permanent campfire smell and it’ll le...
This place is beautiful and spacious - the attention to detail and aesthetic is definitely impressive! The kitchen is also great for cooking. This is a great spot for groups (up to 5) but for just 2 of us, I'm not sure it was worth the $$. Overall I wish it had been cozier: more soft lighting, plush blankets (instead of rough wool blankets that mat...
very clean and refreshing
Cabin was great! Hot tub was awesome. Inside was a little more rustic than we expected but still clean and a great space. Well stocked kitchen and good Wi-Fi. There was a road closure near Mt Rainier that made getting there a little tough from Paradise but we found the detour eventually. Host communicated well
