My wife and I had an excellent time staying in Wailua Bay 302. The unit was very clean and inviting. They had all the amenities we needed and then some. It does get pretty warm since the entire unit isn't A/C'd but it's nice that the bedroom is. Would definitely recommend, as long as you are aware and can cope with the no A/C issue.
This was our first time in Hawaii. We stayed from April 17 - April 24th. We had a couple raining days but other than that the weather was perfect. Normally that’s fine with the wind coming in from the ocean, but the way this building is set up, this unit misses all the wind. The rental was clean and in good shape. The bedroom was warm but did have a fan. The view was very nice but it is close to the main road and there is very loud traffic all day and night.
The view of Wailua Bay is absolutely stunning. While there was a lot of road noise during the day, it did not prevent us from getting a good nights rest.
