About The Property
The Inn has 6 fully furnished rooms each with a private bathroom en suite. The decor reflects an African theme, with each room dedicated to various African animals. The elephant, zebra and kudu rooms are furnished with king size beds. The giraffe room has a queen size canopy bed and the lion room is furnished with a queen bed and a smaller day bed (perfect for a family of three). The buffalo guest room includes two single beds. The rate includes a three course dinner and a full breakfast in the morning. The inn is located a mile up on Spring Mountain with view of the North Fork Mountains and South Mill Creek Lake. Birdlife abounds in the private 80 acre forest which has walking trails.

Tom and Sonja have spent over 40 years living in Central, Southern and West Africa. Wildernest Safari Inn is a showcase for the art, crafts and memorabilia collected from Cameroon, Central African Republic, Equatorial Guniea, Mauritania, Mozambique, Niger, South Africa and Zimbabwe.
