The property also has a lush, irrigated lawn for recreation or relaxation.  Interior Living SpaceThe property’s main level is comprised of a spacious living and dining room. There is seating for 18 at two dining tables. The living room has a TV, ample seating and has a slider out to the pool area. The updated kitchen is adjacent to the dining rooms and features new appliances, a waterfall granite counter, and a spacious bar area. The roomy kitchen area is ideal for entertaining and has a slider to the pool area. There are two-bedroom suites on this level as well. Both rooms have private baths and King beds.  Finally, there is a private wing off the other side of the kitchen that has a small den, two bedrooms with queens plus a full bath. This area may be ideal for a young family or anyone who may need some extra privacy from the rest of the group. In all, the main level has four bedrooms. The lower level is set up with a King bedroom, a secondary TV lounge plus a game room. There is also a full bath down here. Upstairs, you’ll find 3 additional bedrooms. The first has a King bed and a twin bed with trundle (sleeps 4).  Next is a King bedroom and the last bedroom has two twins.  There is a full bath upstairs as well. Outdoor SpaceThe heated pool is surrounded by a spacious patio with plentiful lounging and seating. The dining area has seating for up to 18 and features 6+ chaise lounges to soak up the sun. The pool includes an auto safety cover that can be closed with a flick of a switch. This keeps the pool safe for any young ones and also helps to keep debris out and heat in the pool. Harwich PortFrom the house, you can head west into Harwich Port Village, about a 7- minute walk. The village has several dining and bar options to choose from.  There’s also ice cream, boutiques, and art studios to browse. It’s a charming village center that features Port Summer Nights on Wednesdays in the summer. The streets are closed to vehicle traffic and the area is festive with live music, food trucks and other attractions. Saquatucket HarborYou can also head just east to Saquatucket Harbor. There are waterfront dining options here as well as a great selection of charter boats on which to get out on the water with a rod and reel. Or, head out to Nantucket for the day! The Freedom Ferry will have you over to the island in just over an hour.  Don’t forget the beach!  You can walk across the street and down Snow Inn Road to Merkel Beach, about a 10-minute walk from the house (half a mile). The entry opens to the charming kitchen that includes a washer and dryer. Welcome to “The Blue Hydrangea”.  We fell in love with this cottage and had to have it.  This winter we are renovating the property.  A brand new kitchen (all appliances and granite counters), two completely modernized bathrooms, a new master bedroom king size bed, a sleep sofa in the loft, 100% of the property completely re-painted and more……..it is going to be more beautiful than ever.   The back yard still has the private deck and outdoor fireplace, along with a great outdoor shower and gas grill.  One minute walk to a stunning private beach.   Ten minute drive to Harwichport or downtown Chatham.  This private small community is amazing…….and so convenient to everything.   We have outfitted the house with everything you could possibly need.  Come see why we love it……..you will too.

This family friendly, fun beach house is a must for your Cape Cod getaway!  Central air conditioning, new window treatments, hardwood floors throughout, WIFI and plenty of space to gather inside and out.  

You don't have to look very far to understand why this home is called The Blue Hydrangea!  The "official" Cape Cod flower is evident throughout the lush front and backyards.

Enter this home directly into the dining and kitchen area.  Blue are white decor bring the coastal feel to life.  As you enter the open concept living area you see the dining table for six - the accessible kitchen with whimsical blue countertops and plenty of room within the bead board cabinetry.  A fully equipped kitchen ready for any meals you want to make inside!

The living room has plenty of comfy seating around the gas fireplace and flat screen television.

On this main level are two bedrooms with two twins in each - Bedroom #1 and Bedroom #2 both have dressers and ample closet space.  Bathroom #1, a full bathroom with shower is located in the hallway between the bedrooms.  Laundry closet with stackable washer and dryer are provided for you convenience.

As you go upstairs, the loft area is great "chill out" space for reading or watching TV on the cozy couch (which opens to a full sofa bed) - catch up on email at the desk provided for remote working or learning - or just gaze out the windows and the perfect setting.

Bedroom #3 has a king bed and ensuite Bathroom #2 full with not only a shower but also a sunken tub!  Double closets and dressers for all your beach attire round out the room.  Sliders to your balcony overlooking the back yard makes this bedroom extra special.

Welcome to the Cottage!  Recently updated on the exterior, the inside of this one room studio has an open floor plan.

The combined living, dining, and kitchen area is all you need when you are an adventurer on the Cape and mostly use the home to catch up on sleeping before starting a new day of fun!

The kitchen area has a cook-top, a microwave, a toaster oven, and a small refrigerator.  The dinette with table and chairs for two can be expanded for those days you are stuck inside and want to do a puzzle or play a game.

Welcome to Beach Bungalow! This cozy unit (275sqft) is found in a central Harwich Port location but quietly tucked away in a community with outdoor pool and common gathering area with picnic tables.

We’re happy you’ve chosen our cozy beach condo for your vacation and hope your stay is special.  You will experience many spectacular sunsets at the beach, nearby walks to all the shops and restaurants downtown, and maybe a round of golf at Harwich Port Golf Club. We hope that your stay is sunny and enjoyable with many happy memories.

Let Us Tell You About This Home:

Follow the sign on Route 28 marking the driveway leading to the tucked away enclave that is Wyndemere Village condominiums. Travel past the common area on the right with plenty of picnic tables set on the lawn beside the inground pool and the single story story building ahead houses unit #23. The convenient parking space located at the top of the short path leading to the front door of Beach Bungalow allows for easy unloading of the items you will need for your stay.

Enter the unit and you will be in the open floorplan, consisting of the kitchen and living room. The kitchen on your left runs the length of the wall and provides a counter height refrigerator, electric stove, toaster and Keurig coffee maker. There is plenty of counterspace to use when preparing or unpacking meals and the freedom to dine in the living room or outside on one of the picnic tables.

The living room offers a comfortable couch beneath a ceiling fan and a large flat screen TV with streaming capabilities and cable as well. Sit on the couch beneath the window to enjoy a book in the daylight or cuddle up for a movie at night.

In the neighboring space on the other side of the living room wall is the sleeping area with Queen sized bed, nightstands and booklights on both sides of the bed and a floor fan to provide a nice breeze at night. Across from the foot of the bed is open closet space with hangers and the door to the full bathroom with tub/shower combination.

Please note: This unit includes a ceiling fan in the living room and a oscillating floor fan in the bedroom but no air conditioning.

Immediately outside of the front door is a small patio with seating to enjoy people watching or just a beautiful Cape day/night. Across from the front of the unit is the inground pool - unheated and fully surrounded by fencing for safety. The aforementioned lawn area with picnic tables is the perfect place for those who don't choose to swim but want to supervise the little ones as they enjoy the pool. And, for days when you take the three to five minute walk to the private beach at the end of the road, there is a fully enclosed outdoor shower with hot and cold water to use to rinse off. 

All that Harwich Port has to offer is nearby! Enjoy local restaurants, bars and stores day or night while staying in this home.

Summer Wind on the Cape is our home away from home.   When we walk through the doors, we overlook the ocean and the views take our breath way whether its summer, winter, fall or spring.   You can sit on the deck and smell the ocean, feel the breeze and hear the surf and forget about absolutely everything for a while.   Our home soothes and calms our senses and we never want to leave!  You can be lost anywhere in the house and enjoy your privacy, or you can be out in the yard playing with the family, but most important you're a step away from the beach.

Let Us Tell You About This Home:

This home has been recently updated.   

The upper main level offers a newly remodeled kitchen with an open living/dining area with views and sliders to a wrap around, expansive deck. The kitchen is fully equipped with new stainless steel appliances, bright white cabinets, and a center island with drawer-type microwave and stools for breakfast-bar seating. The kitchen now opens to the French-style dining area. The living room has updated, coastal furniture including a new couch. The sliders to the large back deck let the natural sun in and showcase the ocean views.

On this level and down the hallway from the living area is a half bath, and at the end of hallway is the Master suite, furnished with a King bed, TV, and an adjoining full bath with tub/shower. Wake up each morning and take a couple of steps to the sliding glass doors that invite you to sit back and relax on the deck as you drink your coffee and take in the true beauty of Cape Cod.

Walk in the front door or the side door from the breezeway and you are on the lower level. As you enter the front door there is an entryway with a staircase to the upstairs. To the left is a hallway with an enclosed washer/dryer in a closet and a door to the breezeway that has a small patio and entrance to garage (not for guest use). There is an enclosed outdoor shower in this area too.  To the right of the staircase is a hallway that goes around and to the back and left of the staircase.  On the right is a full bathroom with tub/shower combo. Directly in back of the staircase is a separate family room with sliders to small back deck and backyard. This family room offers a Queen sleep sofa, flat screen TV, and privacy sheers as well as drapes across the sliders for privacy. The second bedroom on this level has a Queen bed with sliders to a small deck and backyard. The 3rd bedroom offers a twin and double bed. To the left is a hallway with the 4th bedroom which is a second Master suite with a king bed, en suite full bath with tub/shower, and sliders to a small deck.

Outside there is a chef's grill- the grill master in the group will be in heaven as they prepare the surf and turf for the family to enjoy!  The deck is a sun worshiper's paradise as there is a different deck chair for every day of the week - chaise lounges, a unique circular outdoor couch, and traditional dining table and chairs.  Not to be missed is the enclosed outdoor shower with hot and cold water – a must have amenity for beach lovers! And the landscaped yard is perfect for kicking a ball around with the kids, playing tag, or even setting up a net to play badminton.  Finally, the fire pit for late night ghost stories and s'mores!

This home is located in South Harwich, walk, bike or drive to Red River Beach, there is a small foot-path from the dead-end street directly to the beach! The location is convenient to both the quaint and seaside towns of Chatham and Harwich Port Village. Enjoy School House Ice Cream nearby and the Cape Cod Bike Trail is just about a mile away.
