The entire property is yours. Three floors, bedrooms on each floor with the upstairs being a private loft (3rd bedroom). Cozy enough for a couple (half of our guests), but enough space for up to six guests. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, enjoy the built-in fire pit and hot tub, enjoy our seasonal waterfall and enjoy the farm life! Enjoy your private yard, the acreage housing our animals (donkeys, goats, pig & some ducks/rooster). Easy access into Boone (15 mins), Valle Crucis (10 mins) and over to Banner Elk (20 mins). Skiing and Blowing Rock within 25 minutes! Pet friendly with breed & size restrictions (50 pounds max) & $75 pet fee. Our animals prefer to be the largest animals on property. Please ask! Renting Mountain Magic does NOT gain you access to our farm up the road, I am sorry (it is private for guests staying there). The entire property is yours. The animals live off the land, so you are not responsible for caring for the animals, however, should you choose to feed them, we ask only that they eat fruits and vegetables and they will take all the love you want to throw at them. Go right inside their gate! They are simply the sweetest farm animals, but they are animals. If you have a carrot, they will gladly bump over your toddler to get to that carrot! Act responsibly! I think we have interaction down. Guests want to see a face, they want to know this is a personal service, but we also know how not to bother a vacationing family :). We think you will love the quiet of Bethel. Guests are reminded of Valle Crucis charm here, and we get that, but this is a sweet, quiet farming area, a safe space and with easy access (though everyone should recommend 4x4 in the winter months!) You will need a car. NOTE: A lot of families plan excursions and end up skipping some of them and simply enjoy the cabin and farm life. Set aside time to just lounge at Mountain Magic, this is where your family’s mountain memories will be made! The farm animals LOVE veggies! Our pig, goats and donkeys will quickly become your best friends! Carrots, celery, cabbage, whatever you got, EXCEPT corn and sweet feed! Pet Fee starts at $75 (Under 50 pounds only).
